Confluent's Modern Slavery Statement

This statement is made, pursuant to the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, for and on behalf of Confluent, Inc. and its subsidiaries for the financial year ending on 31 December 2023. Confluent is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards of conduct and acting with integrity and respect for human rights.

Slavery and human trafficking are terrible crimes which we are fully committed to preventing at any level in our operations and supply chain. This statement sets out the steps we have taken to identify potential risks relating to our business and to address and prevent modern slavery.

About Our Business

Confluent is the data streaming platform that is pioneering a fundamentally new category of data infrastructure that sets data in motion. Confluent’s cloud-native offering is the foundational platform for data in motion – designed to be the intelligent connective tissue enabling real-time data, from multiple sources, to constantly stream across the organization. With Confluent, organizations can meet the new business imperative of delivering rich, digital front-end customer experiences and transitioning to sophisticated, real-time, software-driven backend operations. Confluent was founded in 2014 and is based in Mountain View, California.

Modern Slavery Statement

We are committed to ensuring that our business operates in a legal and socially responsible way that prevents slavery and human trafficking. We are also committed to playing our part in helping the world to improve practices designed to combat slavery and human trafficking.

As of the date below, we are not aware of any allegations of human trafficking or slavery activities against any of our current suppliers. If such allegations arise, we will immediately conduct an inquiry and report it to the authorities where required.

Our Employee Culture

Confluent is committed to acting with integrity and operating in a fair and transparent manner.

Everyone who works at Confluent is expected to be familiar with, and adhere to, our Code of Conduct. Our Code of Conduct describes our core values and establishes global standards for how we work with each other, our customers and our partners. We conduct our business in accordance with our guiding principles which we have adopted to represent the high standards that we set for ourselves and exemplify the ethos and values we seek to instill in our employees. These values include fostering a culture of ethics and trust, playing by the rules, and speaking up.

We strive to maintain the highest standards of employee conduct and ethical behavior.

We employ people from all backgrounds who share the ambitions and values of our business. Confluent strives to foster an environment in which individual diversity is celebrated, employees have equal employment rights and opportunities, and a work environment free of discrimination of all types, and from abusive, offensive or harassing behavior. Our Code of Conduct encourages employees to report any violations of labor and employment law to our trained People Team personnel without fear of retaliation.
