Amanda Gilbert
ConfluentAmanda Gilbert is a Staff Solutions Engineer for Confluent and a Confluent Cloud subject matter expert. She has been working in the data engineering space since graduating college in 2014. She is passionate about building event driven architectures that utilize existing technologies, limit technical debt and create performant applications. Amanda lives in Baltimore, MD where she enjoys playing poker, hiking, traveling and reading in her free time.

Bruno Cadonna
ConfluentBruno Cadonna is an Apache Kafka committer and a software developer at Confluent working on ksqlDB and Kafka Streams. Prior to Confluent, he was a software developer at SAP, where he worked on a distributed in-memory computing engine for big data. Bruno holds a Ph.D. in computer science from Free University of Bozen-Bolzano in Italy and held a postdoc position at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. His academic research focused on data stream and event processing.
