Course Objectives

In this three-day hands-on, Apache Kafka operations training course, you will learn to build and manage Kafka clusters using industry best practices developed by the world’s foremost Apache Kafka experts. You will learn how Kafka and the Confluent Platform work, their main subsystems, their functions, how they interact, and how to set up, manage, and tune your cluster.

Who Should Attend?

This course is designed for engineers and operations staff responsible for building, managing, and tuning Kafka clusters.

Course Prerequisites

Attendees should have a strong knowledge of Linux/Unix, and understand basic TCP/IP networking concepts. Familiarity with the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) is helpful. No prior knowledge of Kafka is required. Participants are required to provide a laptop computer with unobstructed internet access to fully participate in the class.
