Confluent Cloud: Data Warehousing with Amazon Redshift

Watch Now

Available On-Demand

Cloud data warehouses power business critical and advanced analytics for organizations at lower costs, increased elasticity, and improved performance. With the ever-growing amount of data and variety of workloads, traditional data warehouses simply can’t keep up with today’s digital-first, cloud-native requirements.

However, the journey to a cloud data warehouse isn’t easy due to slow time to analytics-ready data, high costs from intermediary data systems, and complexities of integrating multiple data silos across hybrid or multi-cloud environments.

Modernizing your data warehouse doesn’t need to be long or complicated. In this webinar, we’ll walk through how you can start immediately migrating to Amazon Redshift across on-prem and cloud environments using Confluent, our ecosystem of pre-built connectors, and ksqlDB for real-time data processing.

Joseph Morais started early in his career as a network/solution engineer working for FMC Corporation and then Urban Outfitters (UO). At UO, Joseph joined the e-commerce operations team, focusing on agile methodology, CI/CD, containerization, public cloud architecture, and infrastructure as code. This led to a greenfield AWS opportunity working for a startup, Amino Payments, where he worked heavily with Kafka, Apache Hadoop, NGINX, and automation. Before joining Confluent, Joseph helped AWS enterprise customers scale through their cloud journey as a senior technical account manager. At Confluent, Joseph serves as cloud partner solutions architect and Confluent Cloud evangelist.
