SINGAPORE, Singapore - February 7, 2024 - Confluent, Inc. (NASDAQ:CFLT), the data streaming pioneer, today announced the appointment of Koichi Ishii as the country manager for Japan. Ishii brings over 15 years’ experience in strategic planning and execution to help customers across industries win in the digital world.

At Confluent, Ishii will develop the go-to-market strategy in Japan to advance regional organizations’s data streaming journey with Confluent, the industry leading data streaming platform that streams, governs, processes, and connects real-time data.

Prior to joining Confluent, Ishii was at Rubrik, a data security technology company, where he built the Japan business from the ground up and forged strategic collaborations across internal and external organizations. Before that, he was at Tanium, a security operation software company, and VMware, a hybrid cloud technology company, where he held sales leadership roles for Japan to scale the business through strong partner ecosystems.
