We are thrilled to announce that Confluent Cloud for Government is now available on the FedRAMP Marketplace with FedRAMP 20x Low authorization, allowing both private and public sector customers to leverage our cloud-native data streaming platform to power their mission-critical applications. This milestone marks the successful completion of Phase One of our FedRAMP 20x Pilot program.
Interested in learning more about how your agency can benefit from Confluent Cloud for Government?
The FedRAMP 20x Pilot is an innovative program that uses a programmatic and automated approach to accelerate the authorization process for cloud services. This pilot has enabled us to engineer a system that will provide continuous, real-time reporting on our compliance standards directly to our Confluent Cloud for Government customers. This demonstrates our strong commitment to the evolving FedRAMP authorization process and to our public and private sector customers as we move into the next phase of Moderate and beyond.
Confluent Cloud for Government is a fully managed, cloud-native Apache Kafka® service for connecting and processing data using a cloud computing environment. It enables its customers to focus on business needs instead of managing the underlying infrastructure supporting their Kafka instances(s). It is available to public, federal, state, local and tribal governments, as well as research institutions, federal contractors, government contractors, etc.
With this authorization, government customers can now start using Confluent Cloud for Government immediately to build real-time applications, connect legacy systems, and modernize their data infrastructure.
This is a critical step in helping public sector teams unlock the full potential of their data in a secure, compliant environment. Private sector customers looking to use Confluent Cloud for Government in their FedRAMP implementations are also now free to leverage this offering as a part of their architecture.
We are not stopping here. Having completed Phase One, we intend to enter Phase Two of the 20x Pilot, where we will pursue the FedRAMP 20x Moderate authorization. This will enable us to serve an even broader range of use cases and agencies that require a higher level of security and compliance.
We are excited about the journey ahead and committed to supporting the public sector with the industry's most trusted data streaming platform.
