Kafka Connect Salesforce

The Salesforce Source Connector integrates Salesforce.com with Apache Kafka. The Salesforce connector provides the capability to capture changes from Salesforce.com via Salesforce Streaming API PushTopics or Salesforce Enterprise Messaging Platform Events. Salesforce Change Data Capture.

The package contains the following source connectors. The `SalesforcePushTopicSourceConnector` subscribes to a PushTopic, captures the create, update, delete, and undelete events related to Salesforce Objects (SObjects), and writes those events to Apache Kafka. This connector will use an existing named PushTopic if one exists, or it will create a PushTopic with the specified name and type of SObject.

The `SalesforcePlatformEventSourceConnector` subscribes to user defined Platform Events and writes them to Kafka. You must first define the Platform Event in Salesforce before starting this connector.
