NY Metro Luncheon & Town Hall

Meet Jun Rao, co-founder, Confluent

September 24, 2019 // 11:30 am - 2:00 pm

We invite you to join Jun Rao, co-founder, Confluent with your NY Metro peers for a private luncheon and Town Hall session on September 24, 2019.

Jun Rao will be providing current updates, answering your questions and discussing how and why organizations are leveraging event streaming as a foundational technology to run their business in real time.

In today's digital age, events are everywhere. Every digital action - across online purchases to ride-sharing requests to bank deposits - creates a set of events around transaction amount, transaction time, user location, account balance, and much more. Event streaming solves the fundamental business problem of re-conceptualizing data as a continually updating stream of events, not as discrete snapshots. With this new paradigm, organizations can develop a new category of event-driven applications built around real-time actions with historical context - i.e. with both eyes open and gain a universal pipeline for real-time as well as historical events.
