Today, we’re excited to announce that Confluent is part of the initial set of partners for Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform, an integrated set of data services unifying databases, analytics, and governance into a seamless experience. This comprehensive and powerful data solution eases the friction between databases and analytics systems, allowing companies to map and govern their data more effectively.
Along with a select group of top Microsoft partners, we’re creating a tightly integrated set of services to help businesses evolve their modern data capabilities, accelerate innovation, and spend more time creating value for their customers. When organizations modernize their data architectures and remove data silos, they become more responsive, create more intelligent apps, uncover new insights, and control their data more effectively. This platform is a critical first step in helping companies accelerate their digital transformation. In addition, it removes the complexity of managing data and reduces the financial and time investments required to achieve similar results in-house.
With Confluent’s data streaming platform combined with Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform customers can seamlessly discover data in their hybrid and multi-cloud data estates. Data residing in Confluent Cloud is now discoverable in Microsoft Purview catalog via the new integration with the Confluent Stream Catalog. In addition, customers can leverage Confluent’s 120+ connectors (of which 70+ are fully managed), allowing them to quickly connect and load data at scale into the data platform via streaming connectors into Synapse Analytics, ADLS Gen II, and Azure Cosmos.
Recently named Microsoft Commercial Marketplace Partner of the year, we’re continually seeking ways to make it easy for companies to get started with Confluent on Azure through our 30-day free trial and SSO capabilities. We’re thrilled to further our partnership with Microsoft and excited to see how the Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform will enhance the experience for customers.
